September 3,2008 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Nielsen and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING STUDY <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services <br /> agreement with Aspect Consulting fora geotechnical engineering <br /> study with respect to the Riverside Property in the amount of <br /> 855,000.00. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Nielsen and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.0808-41 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to chronic nuisance properties, <br /> adding a new chapter to Title 9 of the Everett Municipal Code <br /> (Public Peace,Morals 8 Welfare) <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member Olson <br /> that this is the third and final reading of Council Bill No.0808-41. <br /> Jerry Gadek,representing the Salvation Army,2525 Rucker Avenue,had <br /> questions as to how this might impact social service organizations and the <br /> 200 foot rule as it might relate to two properties. <br /> Laura Van Slyck,City Attorneys Office,related that they key definition <br /> that would address the concern is the definition of"control over the <br /> property".The intent of this ordinance is not to penalize any residential or <br /> 300 <br />
