September 10,2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,September 10,2008,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall,President Nielsen presiding Upon roll call It was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson, Halloe, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Attholter were present.Council Member Gipson <br /> was excused. <br /> The minutes at the September 3.2008 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> President Nielsen announced that two council members are going to have <br /> to leave the meeting shortly after 9 a.m.,so comments will be moved to <br /> the end of today's agenda. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.8055 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,792,439.58 for the period of August 23,2008 through August 29, <br /> 2008. <br /> RESOLUTION-PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6056 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount • <br /> of$3,588,273.98 for the period ending August 2,2008. <br /> 303 <br />
