December 17,2008 <br /> GRANT AWARDS—2009 MUNICIPAL ARTS CAPITAL AND <br /> PROGRAMMING <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Afiholter to approve the 2009 Municipal Arts Capital and <br /> Programming Grant Awards as recommended by the Cultural Arts <br /> Commission in an amount not to exceed 840,000.00. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher disclosed that she is president of the board <br /> of the dance school and that she and her husband guarantee a portion of <br /> their indebtedness which may create a financial conflict. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that his wife is also on the board of the <br /> dance school and that they have the same financial commitments. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Stonecipher who abstained and Council Member <br /> HatIoa who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—COUNCIL BILL NO.0810.53 <br /> Council President Nielsen opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill <br /> No.0811-61,a proposed ordinance mooning 1.3 acres of property boated <br /> at the southwest corner of 755 Street S.W.and HeMeson Road from M-M <br /> (Business Parc)to C-2(Heavy Commercial-Light Industrial). <br /> David Tyler,Planning,gave a brief presenta0on regarding the proposed <br /> rezone.He stated that the Planning Commission recommends approval. <br /> President Nielsen Invited public comment.Them was no response. <br /> 428 <br />
