January 21.2009 Dongho Chang,Traffic Engineer,stated that the neighborhood's proposed traffic plan is quite different from what the public process has already approved.He gave a brief overview of the plan.He stated that to change the traffic plan at this time would create a lot of challenges for the neighborhood. Council Member Stonecipher requested that the neighborhood's traffic plan and the results of the hospital and college's work on their commute trip reduction plans be presented to the Transportation Committee at their next meeting. Council Member Roberts asked City Attomey Iles what the process is to make modifications if they are deemed to be desirable. Attorney Iles stated that he would have to review the process and get back to him. Council Member Nielsen requested that a copy of the traffic plan be submitted to all members of the council. Council Member Gipson requested that a presentation be made to the council as well. Annie Lyman,929 Hoyt,thanked the City Council for voting to have night meetings.She questioned the purpose of the Board of Appeals. City Adomey Iles explained that the Board hears appeals related to issues involving the building code and the application of the building code. Barb Lenroudex.1027 Rucker,requested something in writing as to what the Board of Appeals does.She announced that there will be a workshop presentation regarding PEMC:s ongoing plans in the bottom of the medical office building tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. Council President Hatloe reminded everyone that next week's council meeting will be held on Tuesday,January 27,2009,at 8:30 p.m. Council Member Nielsen requested that agenda Bern no.3,to authorize a call for construction bids for the 9NSF Delta Yard Sewer Protection project,be moved to the action items.
