February 11,2009 <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.8113 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $3,128,507.13 for the period of January 24,2009 through January 30, <br /> 2009. <br /> STREET CLOSURE-ARTSPACE GROUNDBREAKING <br /> To approve the closure of Hoyt Avenue,south side of Hewitt to north <br /> side of Monte Cristo Hotel,fora groundbreaking celebration for the <br /> Visual Arts Education Center/Artspace on February 19,2009,10 a.m. <br /> to 1 p.m.,sponsored by the Arts Council of Snohomish County with <br /> the condition that personnel be on site and prepared to <br /> accommodate emergency vehicle access in the event of an <br /> emergency. <br /> STREET CLOSURE-ST.PATTY'S DAY BEER GARDEN <br /> To approve the closure of the alley behind 2923 Colby Avenue for a <br /> St Patty's Day Beer Garden from March 17,2009,8 a.m.,to March 18, <br /> 2009,8 a.m.,sponsored by the Irishmen with the conditions that two <br /> off-duty police officers be hired for the duration of the event and that <br /> personnel be on site and prepared to accommodate emergency <br /> vehicle access in the event of an emergency. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 39 <br />
