March 25,2009 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,March 25,2009,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hatloe presiding. Upon roll cell it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson.Hetloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Afiholter were present. <br /> Council Member Affholter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 18,2009 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. Council Members Rebeds and Gipson abstained from the <br /> vete. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts reported that he visited the Port Gardner <br /> Neighborhood where they,along with the Washington Conservation Corp <br /> and the Everett TILT Group,am cultivating pee patch gardens across <br /> from Jackson Elementary School. He commented that the Attorney <br /> General indicated at the NLC Conference that there may be new funding <br /> available for police activity and public safety. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session regarding two litigation <br /> matters and one real estate matter to consider the sale price of a <br /> property,disclosure of which would ultimately affect the price. The <br /> session is expected to last approximately 40 minutes with no anticipated <br /> announcement to follow. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent items: <br /> 75 <br />
