May13.2009 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,May 13,2009 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall. <br /> President Hatloe presiding. Upon roll call ft was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts.Olson.Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Affholter were present. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 6,2009 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> HISTORIANS RECOGNIZED <br /> Mayor Stephenson recognized David Dilgard end Margaret Riddle.They <br /> both have received Robed Gray Medal Awards,the highest honor given <br /> by the Washington State Historical Society.David also received en award <br /> for Outstanding Achievement from the Washington State Historic <br /> Preservation Office for a podcast of his Evergreen Cemetery historical <br /> tour. <br /> Margaret related that she has hada dream job,a great place to live and <br /> wonderful people to work with. <br /> David explained that he has been prrleged to work in an outstanding <br /> Northwest library,the Everett Library,for three decades. <br /> YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS <br /> Kate Reardon explained that this is the 20e year the city of Everett has <br /> honored outstanding young people chosen from those who were <br /> nominated for their achievements in the community.She along with Drew <br /> S Shaw Introduced the following recipients of the Annual Mayor's Youth <br /> Achievement Awards: <br /> • <br /> 122 <br />
