• <br /> May 27,2009 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,May 27,2009 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall. <br /> President Hatioe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson; Council Members Roberts, Olson, Hatloe, Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and Affholter were present. Council Member Gipson was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Affholter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 20,2009 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Roberts abstained from the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked the Mayor and Transit staff for their <br /> support and participation on Bike to Work Day. He also noted that the <br /> new Sound Transit parking lot and pedestrian overpass at Everett Station <br /> opened today. <br /> Council Member Affholter brought forth the following item. <br /> Moved by Council Member Affholter,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with the city of <br /> Bellevue regarding participation of Everett Police officers in Bellevue <br /> Ponce Department's Motorcycle Training Course. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY • <br /> • <br /> City Attorney Jim Iles had no comment. <br /> 133 <br />
