• <br /> • <br /> June 10,2009 <br /> The City Clerk was directed to call the roil for the final disposition of the <br /> ordinance. <br /> • <br /> AYES: Robeds,Olson,Hatloe,Nielsen,Stonecipher,Afiholter <br /> NAYS: Gipson <br /> Ordinance No.3127.09 adopted. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—COUNCIL BILL NO.0905-11 <br /> President Hatloe opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No.0005- <br /> 13,a proposed ordinance establishing a Planned Action for Downtown <br /> Everett. <br /> Allan Gillen,Planning,explained that the purpose of the Planned Action is <br /> to expedite the SOPA review for projects that are consistent with the <br /> downtown plan. It establishes a review process when there is <br /> development proposal one building with an historic properly and gives the <br /> historical commission the opportunity to weigh in on the proposal. <br /> Jim Hanson,Planning,gave a brief overview of the proposed ordinance. <br /> President Hatloe invited public comment. <br /> Cheryl Robinson,Marysville,stated that she Is opposed to what Is going <br /> to happen and requested that due to the economy,we take a critical I <br /> review of same of the plans. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 161 <br />
