Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Ha0oe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Affholter were present. <br /> The minutes of the August 5,2009 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Jim Iles requested an executive session regarding two <br /> potential litigation matters to last approximately fifteen minutes at the end <br /> of the city council meeting with no announcement anticipated. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> There were no citizen comments. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Aftholter to approve the fallowing consent items: <br /> IOFSOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6172 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the city of Everett In the amount of <br /> $1,704,287.09 for the period of July 25,2009 through July 31,2009. <br /> 227 <br />
