September 2,2009 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 0:30 <br /> Am.,September 2,2009,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,Vice President Attholter presiding. Upon roll cell it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberta,Olson,Gipson. <br /> Nielsen.Stonecipher and Affholter were present. Council President <br /> Halive was excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 28,2009 City Coundl meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH—POI ICE OFFICERS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,ascended by Council Member <br /> Roberts to concur with the appointments of Johnny Burns,Shane <br /> Nelson,Matthew Heck,Kelly Roy and John Faught as new police <br /> officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Hatloe who was excused. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered their oath and Mayor Stephenson <br /> presented them with their badges. <br /> • <br /> APPOINTMENTS—SENIOR CENTER ADVISORY BOARD <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to concur with the following appointments: <br /> 246 <br />
