September 30,2009 <br /> A special meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:00 <br /> p.m.,September 30,2009 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall,President HaSoe presiding. <br /> The city council meeting recessed for an executive session concerning a <br /> potential litigation matter to last approximately 30 minutes with no <br /> anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> The city council meeting reconvened at 6:35 p.m. Upon roll call it was <br /> found that Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Olson,Haooe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Affholter were present. Council Member <br /> Roberts was excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 23,2009 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no comment. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Jason Tarborone,part of the View Ridge/Madison community,requested <br /> that a discussion be held at next council meeting regarding the perk in his <br /> neighborhood. Mayor Stephenson stated that someone would contact <br /> him. <br /> Ed Rubatino,Rubatino Refuse Removal,mentioned that a notice is going <br /> out in the mail to customers the first of the month announcing that <br /> Rubatino Refuse Is expanding their yard waste service to include food <br /> waste.He also mentioned that they have completed retrofitting their trucks <br /> with new mufflers to reduce t!.:c amount of emissions. <br /> 276 <br />
