• <br /> September 30,2009 <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.09013-30 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to Lewd Conduct amending <br /> Ordinance No.114585(EMC 10.24)as provided in Section 9 of <br /> this ordinance <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member Nielsen <br /> that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. <br /> 0900-30. <br /> Ramsey Remerman,Legal,gave an overview of the proposed ordinance <br /> which• eon the conduct of persons and full nudity.He noted that <br /> council also has before them a revised version which is focused on the <br /> secondary activities that are caused by certain types of dress and is <br /> limited to actions taken for the purpose of commercial gain. <br /> Council members asked several questions related to the proposed <br /> ordinance as well as the revised version. <br /> Moved by Council Member Affhoiter to adopt the amended version of <br /> the proposed ordinance. <br /> Motion died for lack of second. <br /> Shahram Hadien, Everett; Karen Myers, Mukilteo; Kris McLeod, <br /> Snohomish;Rhonda Bremond,Mill Creek;Andrea deleCerra,Everett; <br /> Ray Johnson,Drunks Falls;Lisa Moritz,Everett;Mishel!a Hills,Everett; <br /> Jennifer Linda!,Everett;Sam Rassilly,Everett;Mary Beastly,Everett; <br /> Susan Johnson,Granite Falls;and Paula Westi8verett,generally spoke <br /> in supped of the proposed ordinance related to lewd conduct but <br /> requested that the council implement even stricter laws concerning attire. <br /> Considerable discussion ensued by council members. <br /> Council Member Aflholter requested that staff bring back the proposed <br /> amendment in two weeks for council consideration.This will allow time <br /> 278 <br />
