November 9,2009 <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6205 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the city of Everett In the amount of <br /> $3,566,214.31 for the period of October 24,2009 through October 30, <br /> 2009. <br /> BID CALL—BOND STREET INTERCEPTOR AND LIFT STATION <br /> 5 FORCE MAIN <br /> To approve a call for bids for both the Bond Street Interceptor and <br /> the Lift Station 5 Force Main. <br /> Roll was called with all co ncil members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Gipson and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—FIXED ROUTE FARE <br /> Moved by Council Member Afiholter,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to adopt Resolution No.6206 authorizing a fixed route fare for <br /> commuter oriented services equal to Community Transit's local fare. <br /> Council Member Nielson requested an explanation as he had received <br /> numerous e-mails regarding it <br /> Tom Hin0son,Transportation Services,stated that the fixed route fare is a <br /> new fare for Everett Transit and it is designed to address specific markets <br /> that am new to us but are not new to Community Transit.This is not Just <br /> for the Boeing route but it also applies to a new mute that will operate <br /> between the Navy base and Marysville which will also share a corridor <br /> 326 <br />
