December 23,2009 <br /> AGREEMENT—SMITH ISLAND/UNION SLOUGH RESTORATION SITE <br /> MONITORING SERVICES <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services <br /> agreement with Jones and Stokes for the Smith Island/Union Slough <br /> Restoration Site Monitoring Services in the amount of$142,405.00. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—BOND STREET COO CONTROL FACILITIES <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to adopt Resolution No.6224 accepting a loan from the <br /> Washington State Department of Ecology (Washington State <br /> Revolving Fund)and authorizing the Mayor to execute the loan <br /> agreement and such other documents as necessary to implement <br /> this resolution. <br /> Dave Davis,Public Works acknowledged the efforts of the Surface Water <br /> Management Group in securing this$6.3 million loan.He stated that this <br /> is part of$24 million worth of combined sewer overflow improvements that <br /> are planned for the Bond Street area.
