January 6,2010 <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Superior Court Judge Joe Wilson administered the oaths of office to <br /> Mayor Ray Stephenson,Council Members Paul Roberts,Jeff Moore and <br /> Arlan Hatloe and Municipal Court Judges Timothy O'Dell and David <br /> Mitchell. • <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,January 6,2010 In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Roberts presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Moore,Halloe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Alfholter were present. <br /> Council Member Atlholter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the December 30,200g Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Members Hatice and Moore abstained from <br /> voting. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed January 11 through 18,2010 as Dr.Martin <br /> Luther King,Jr.Days. Amy Ockedander received the proclamation on <br /> behalf of the Martin Luther King Jr.Community Celebration Planning <br /> Committee and thanked the city council and mayor for their support. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> City council members welcomed Council Member Jeff Moore. <br /> Council Member Moore expressed that it is an honor to serve the cih ens <br /> of Everett. <br /> Council Member Gipson invited all to attend the renaming ceremony of <br /> the Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett on January 11 P.at 2:30 p.m. <br /> 1 <br />
