January 13.2010 <br /> BID AWARD—POLICE AMMUNITION <br /> Moved by Council Member Af0rolter,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to award Bid No.2009-087 for the annual supply of police <br /> ammunillon to San Diego Police Equipment Company Inc.in the <br /> amount of$112,162.33 including Washington State sales tax as <br /> received at the bid opening held at 2:00 p.m.,December 29,2009. SII <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ADDITIONAL COUNCIL COMMENTS .� <br /> Council Member Moore questioned council procedure and if anyone {i <br /> objected to an additional comment regarding meeting times. No one <br /> objected.He stated that the school district encourages its employees to <br /> be involved in their community and is very supportive of flexible schedules <br /> in order to bring that about. He also related that there are citizens who <br /> also am unable to attend night meetings. <br /> Council Member Nielsen brought forth that the Charter Review Committee • <br /> is an inside committee as the mayor and council members make the <br /> appoinbnents. <br /> Council Member Gipson voiced that upon recommending someone for <br /> that committee he looks at their experience. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> President Roberts announced that they would go into executive session <br /> and that the city council meeting would adjourn from there. <br /> President Roberts exiled the meeting. <br /> 11 <br />
