June 2,2010 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> p.m.,June 2,2010 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hell, <br /> President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call It was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Moore,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and Affholter were present. Council Member Hatloe was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 26,2010 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Member Affholter abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—SENIOR CENTER ADVISORY BOARD <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the city council's concurrence regarding the <br /> appointment of Anthony Pete to the Senior Center Advisory Board. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter to concur with the appointment of Anthony Pete to Position No. <br /> 3,Senior Center Advisory Board,fora six-year term ending December 31, <br /> 2015. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberHags.who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> MAYOR'S YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS <br /> Kate Reardon explained that this is the 20.year the city of Everett has <br /> honored outstanding young people chosen from those who wore <br /> nominated for their achievements in the community. She introduced the <br /> following recipients of the Annual Mayor's Youth Achievement Awards: <br /> Nick Erickson—Everett High School <br /> 153 <br />
