June 9,2010 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,June 9,2010 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call k was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Moore,Hatloe,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Afiholter were present. Council Member Gipson was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 2,2010 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Member Hatloe abstained from the vote. <br /> MAVOR <br /> STORM UPDATE <br /> Dave Davis,Public Works,gave a bdaf update on the weather-related <br /> problems from this afternoon.He stated that crews have been dispatched <br /> to work with homeowners who have experienced sewer backups. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council President Roberts announced that the five proposed ordinances <br /> scheduled for third and final reading and a public hearing on June 23, <br /> 2010 have been rescheduled.The public hearing will be held on June 23, <br /> 2010,but due to council member absences,the third and final reading will <br /> be scheduled for action on June 30,2010. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session regarding a litigation <br /> matter at the end of the meeting. The session Is expected to last <br /> approximately 10 minutes with no anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> 160 <br />
