June 16,2010 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Afihofer who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—COUNCIL RULES OF PROCEDURES FOR <br /> CONDUCT <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore to adopt Resolution No.8281 establishing City Council rules <br /> of procedure for the conduct of the Council. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hague to adopt Amendment No.1,Option 13,amending Section 3 of <br /> the proposed resolution establishing a procedure determining the <br /> presiding officer in the absence of the Council President <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all council members voting yes <br /> except Council Member Affholter who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore to adopt Amendment No.2 amending Section 4 to the <br /> proposed resolution establishing a procedure for council initiated <br /> legislation. <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all council members voting yes <br /> except Council Member Afiholter who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Nielsen directing the Legal Department to add a section to <br /> the proposed resolution stating that the city council will review the <br /> resolution within the next year. <br /> 174 <br />
