June 30,2010 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m..June 30,2010,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Moore,Gipson,Stonecipher <br /> and Afihoher were present. Council Members Hetloe and Nielsen were • <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Afiholter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 23,2010 City Council meeting were approved es • <br /> printed. Council Members Roberts and Stonecipher abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH • <br /> Police Chief Scharf introduced three new police officers. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore to concur with the appointments of Matthew R.Nelson,Todd <br /> A.Olen and Michael A.Dutson as police officers. • <br /> Roll was called with ell council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Harice and Nielsen who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered their oath of office and Mayor <br /> Stephenson presented them with their badges. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council President Roberts stated that they have received letters end <br /> concerns from time to time regarding odor complaints,most recently from <br /> the City of Marysville.He remarked that he has been forwarding them to <br /> 186 <br />
