• <br /> September 1,2010 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was celled to order et 6:30 <br /> p.m.,September 1,2010 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Roberts presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson,Council Members Roberts,Moore,Hallos,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> end Affholter were present Council Member Stonecipher was excused. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 25,2010 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Hallos and Nielsen abstained <br /> from the vote. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Nielsen commented on his recent white water rafting trip <br /> in southern Oregon.He mentioned that five members of his group,who <br /> were from a town near Salem.had heard about the city of Everetrs piano <br /> program on a national public radio broadcast.They were most impressed <br /> by the program. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Iles had no comment <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Deanna Lunder,Everett,spoke regarding the city's promise to install a <br /> water facility at Loganberry Lane Off-leash Dog Park. <br /> Jackie Minchew. Everett, mentioned that World Car Free Day is <br /> September 22,2010.He requested the coy council to consider a car hee <br /> day in Everett,closing just a couple of blocks in downtown Everett. <br /> 250 • <br />
