October 6,2010 <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED—RIVERFRONT SURCHARGE PHASE 3 <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Gipson to authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No.1 <br /> with KLB Construction,Inc.for Everett Rivartront Surcharge Phase 3 <br /> project in the amount of$200,889.83. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Moore,Hatloe and Affholter who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. - <br /> DONATION/CARL GIPSON SENIOR CENTER <br /> Council President Roberts stated that the council had intended to move <br /> the proposed action agenda item,adopting a resolution declaring the <br /> city's intent to accept a gift from the Everett Senior Center Foundation,to <br /> an action item.He stated that since 3 nnator Berkey is here to speak on <br /> this item,and if there are no objections from the council members,they <br /> would do so. <br /> Senator Berkey,on behalf of the Everett Senior Center Foundation,spoke <br /> regarding the foundation and its goals to enhance the quality of life for <br /> senior citizens in the greater Everett area and to provide support for the <br /> Senior Activity Center.She stated that,to that end,they are contributing <br /> $40,000.00 towards the installation of an elevator in the Senior Center. <br /> RESOLUTION—DONATION/CARL GIPSON SENIOR CENTER <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stoneciper to adopt Resolution No.6315 declaring the city's intent to <br /> accept a gift from the Everett Senior Center Foundation in the <br /> amount of$40,000.00 donated to the Carl Gipson Senior Center of <br /> Everett expansion project and to transfer$51,183.00 of the Van Zandt <br /> 281 <br />
