• <br /> November 3.2010 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING—TRAFFIC SAFETY <br /> EMPHASIS PATROLS <br /> Moved by Council Member Hatloe,seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore to authorize the Mayor to sign a 2010 Memorandum of <br /> Understanding with the Washington Traffic Safety Commission <br /> regarding participation in high visibility enforcement traffic safety <br /> emphasis patrols. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING-20t1 BUDGET <br /> Council President Roberts opened the second public hearing regarding <br /> the City of Everett 2011 proposed budget. <br /> Council President Roberts invited public comment. No one wished to <br /> speak. <br /> Debra Bryant.Administration,reminded the council members of the <br /> budget development guiding principles which were used to bring forward <br /> the proposed budget package. She remarked that in addition to the <br /> seven positions that were eliminated this year,we will continue to maintain <br /> over 20 vacancies through 2011. <br /> Council Member Gipson requested that the directors be poled to see if <br /> they engage their staff regarding budget cuts and bring that information <br /> back to council. <br /> 315 <br />
