• <br /> January 12,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,January 12,2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Aflholter presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Moore,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and AfIholter were present Council Member Hatloe was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 5,2011 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYO <br /> Mayor Stephenson remarked that the events scheduled for Mahn Luther <br /> King Day were cancelled due to weather. He stated that they will be <br /> planning events for February which is Black History Month. <br /> The Mayor thanked the council members who were able to be at the <br /> ribbon cutting on Friday for Potala Village and Lanie McMullin for her <br /> great work on the project. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Members Moore,Nielsen,Gipson and Robeds commented on <br /> their attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Deputy City Attorney Hall had no comment <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Gary Davis,Everett;Dennis Andersen,Everett;and Bruce Crawford,Mt <br /> Vernon,spoke on behalf of the Everett Elks Lodge.
