February 9,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> p.m.,February g,2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,Council President Affhoiter presiding.Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson,Council Members Roberts,Moore,Neboe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Aftholter were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 2,2011 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the city council's concurrence regarding the <br /> appointment of Christopher Adams to the Planning Commission. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hagoe,to concur with the appointment of Christopher D.Adams to <br /> the Planning Commission,Position No.4,fora six year Senn ending <br /> December 31,2016. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> Mayor Stephenson then remarked that the City is pleased to welcome <br /> Avtech Corpora0on,a leader in the design,development and manufacture <br /> of electronic systems for the aerospace industry,which is expected to <br /> relocate approximately 200 jobs to Everett during the course of the year. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Nielsen requested an opportunity to pose questions <br /> about a bottling company that had been reported to be locating in Everett. <br /> 34 <br />
