March g,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m..March 9,2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> Council President Attholter presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Council Members Roberts.Hatloe,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher and <br /> Attholler were present;Mayor Stephenson end Council Member Moore <br /> were excused. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 2.2011 Everett City Council Meeting were <br /> approved as printed,with Council Member Hallow abstaining. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Council Member Nielsen followed-up on his request for more detail <br /> regarding Request for Proposals 2010-021 for Everett TV Broadcast <br /> Upgrades.especially as to the disparity between the RFP and the <br /> contemplated contract award. <br /> Council Member Gipson requested that Council receive briefing materials <br /> related to Council Member Nielsen's questions prior to the meeting at <br /> which staff makes its presentation addressing these matters. <br /> CM Bryant stated that materials would be provided as far in advance of <br /> the March 16 presentation as possible. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported that he was pleased to stand in for the <br /> Mayor to host a delegation visiting Everett from the Korean National <br /> Unifications Advisory Council,and thanked Pat McClain,Lanie McMullin <br />• and staff who helped orgenioe the visit. <br /> President Affholter inquired of the City Attorney regarding the eligibility of <br /> a recent reappointment to the Salary Review Commission. <br /> City Attorney Iles stated that because the appointee is a family member of <br />• <br /> a Hent City employee he is ineligible to serve,and Council will therefore <br /> need to reconsider the appointment. <br /> 63 <br />
