April 6.2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,April 6.2011,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall. <br /> President Affholter presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts.Moore,Hetloe,Gipson. <br /> Nielsen,and Affholter were present. Council Member Stonecipher was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 30.2011 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> President Afiholter requested a staff response to Council questions <br /> presented at the March 30.meeting regarding State and County law <br /> enforcement actions within the City limits. <br /> Deputy Chief of Police Kathy Atwood provided information about the <br /> coordination of efforts among law enforcement agencies,indicating that <br /> while State and County agencies have jurisdiction within Everett city limits, <br /> Everett officers do not have jurisdiction outside city limits,and that by law <br /> ticket revenue Flows to the Stare and the ticketing agency. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Iles had no comment. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Gary Hatle of Everett spoke in support of the programming elements of <br /> ENP <br /> • <br /> 92 <br />
