April 27,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was celled to order at <br /> 12:30 Em.,April 27,2011 in the City Coundl Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hell,Council President Affholter presiding.Upon roll call it was found <br /> that Mayor Stephenson,Council Members Roberts,Moore,Ha0oe, <br /> Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher and Affholter were present. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 20,2011 Everett City Council Meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Member AOholter abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYO <br /> APPOINTMENT—CHIP LOAN REVIEW COMMITTEE <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the city councils concurrence regarding the <br /> reeppointmeM of Jim Church to the CHIP Loan Review Committee. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore to concur with the reappointment of Jim Church to the CHIP <br /> Loan Review Committee,Position Al,fora four year term ending <br /> December 31,2014. <br /> Roll was called welt all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> NEW FIRE FIGHTERS <br /> Fire Chief Murray Gordon introduced two new fire fighters;Jason Brock <br /> and Matthew Demiter.Mayor Stephenson presented them their badges. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked the city team for their recent work with <br /> regard to higher education during the legislative session.
