August 17,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> p.m..August 17.2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,Council President Afiholter presiding.Upon roll cell it was found that <br /> Council Members Robetts,Nielsen,Stonecipher and',Molter were <br /> present. Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Moore,Native end <br /> Gipson were excused. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 3,2011 and August 10,2011 city council <br /> meetings were approved. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson was excused. • <br /> CITY COUNCIL • <br /> The council members had no comments. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The city attorney had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Miriam Dries, Snohomish, announced an upcoming KSER event <br /> celebrating strong voices in the community. <br /> Dan Aldano,Snohomish,applauded the moratorium o unity <br /> cannabis Brows and offered to provide input on appropriate regulation. <br /> Golds Starr,Sultan;James Deal,Lynnwood;and Dr.David John,Mercer •• <br /> Island spoke regarding the dangers of fluoride In the city water supply •• <br /> and requested that there be a moratorium on water fluoridation while the <br /> City studies its effectiveness and safety. <br /> 231 <br />
