August 31,2011 <br /> RESOLUTION—NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT FUNDS <br /> Moved by Council Member Hatloe,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to adopt Resolution No.6420 for the expenditure of <br /> Neighborhood Protect Funds. <br /> Bill Humphreys,Everett,Vice President of Program Development for <br /> Volunteers of America Western Washington;and Jackie Minchew, <br /> Everett,on behalf of the Lowell Civic Association,spoke in support of the <br /> Red Barn Community Farm and the proposed resolution. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion catrled. <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED—INDIGENT DEFENSE SERVICES <br /> This agenda item,to authorize the Mayor to execute Amendment No.3 to <br /> the contract with Baker,Lewis,Schwisow&Laws PLLC for the provision <br /> of Municipal Court indigent defense services in the form substantially as <br /> provided,was pulled from the agenda. <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED—BIOSOLIDS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore to authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No.2 to the <br /> professional services agreement with HDR Engineering,Inc.to <br /> develop a Long Range Strategic Plan for the city's Biosolids <br /> Management Program to extend the contract completion date to <br /> October 31,2011. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 247 <br />
