September 14,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,September 14,2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall,Council Member Moore presiding. Upon mil call it was found <br /> that Council Members Roberts,Moore,Gipson,Nielsen,and Stonecipher <br /> were present Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Hague and <br /> Affholter were excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 7,2011 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> OC UNCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson stated that he received a call from a citizen who <br /> informed him of a recent fatality on the city's bike path and expressed <br /> concem regarding the lack of posted rule signs. He remarked that the <br /> neighborhood group will be bringing their concems to council in the future. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The city attorney had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> James Robert Deal,Lynnwood,spoke regarding the dangers of adding <br /> silico-0uoride to the city's water supply.He read several excerpts from a <br /> statement by Alveda King,Bemire King and Andrew Young. <br /> Jackie Minchew,Everett,gave a brief background regarding council <br /> agenda item no.4,authorizing a rolling street closure fora Moving Planet- <br /> Moving Produce event. <br /> 254 <br />
