October 19.2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> p.m.,October 19,2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hell.President Affhoier presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson,Council Members Rebels,Moore,Hatloe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and Afiholter were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes cf the October 12,2011 ciy council meeting were approved. <br /> Council Member Mooreabstained from the vote. <br /> MAYO <br /> Mayor Stephenson had no comment. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked staff for organising a meeting that took '.. <br /> place today among Sound Transit and City staff regarding development of <br /> the transportation corridor between Everett and Seattle. <br /> Council Member Gipson thanked Wendy McClure and Neighborhoods for <br /> the well-attended candidates'debate they put on for the community lest <br /> night.He also requested an update on communications with Burlington <br /> Northern Santa Fe railroad regarding increased rail traffic. CAA Debra <br /> Bryant stated that BNSF hes not yet responded to communications from <br /> the City,and that any update depends on their cooperation. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no:wmment. <br /> 284 <br />
