December7,2011 <br /> AGREEMENT—VISTA FOR SENIOR CENTER <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson,to authorize the Mayor to sign a memorandum of agreement <br /> with the Volunteers of America,Western Washington,to provide an <br /> AmeriCorps VISTA for the Cad Gipson Senior Center of Everett from <br /> November 18,2011 to November 17,2012. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yea,except Council <br /> Member Hatioe who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.1111-37 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project <br /> entitled'Public Amenities and Wetland Enhancements.,Fund <br /> 308, Program 003, to accumulate all costs for the <br /> Improvements and repealing Ordinance No.3001-07 <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen,that this is declared to be the third and final reeding of Council <br /> Bill No.1111-37. <br /> Jackie Minchew,Everett,inquired whether the cost of the 4f0 Street <br /> roundabout had increased, and when the developer would begin <br /> construction. <br /> Dave Davis,Public Works,responded that roundabout costs had not <br /> increased,and that the developer remains viable and committed and is <br /> pursuing residential construction,although the retail element of the project <br /> requires a critical mass that the economy is not yet providing. <br /> 1 <br /> 342 <br />
