Jackson Elementary School is 0 3 miles southwest of the Subject Site and <br />includes public access to a playfield, playground equipment and a large grass playfield. <br />The Docket Application request has no anticipated impact to this environmental <br />element. this proposal is limited to an evaluation of impacts related to a <br />comprehensive plan amendment request with a proposed concurrent rezone (with <br />removal of the HO). Impacts on Land and Shoreline Use (including any effect on <br />current uses/area properties) would be reviewed in conjunction with a future land -use <br />proposal in accordance with City development regulations Development of the site <br />would result in the loss of the informal grass field that is utilized by area residents. <br />The proposed request would allow potential development consistent with the 2015- <br />2035 Comprehensive Plan and land use densities consistent with GMA requirements. <br />The proposed request is to amend the comprehensive plan and zoning for a portion of <br />the property.
