1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />• <br />ORDINANCE NO. a6 a_ <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF: <br />Oakes Ave. from south property line of 9th St. <br />north to the north end of said Oakes Ave. <br />Ninth St., from the west property line of Oakes <br />Ave. to the west property line of Lombard Ave. <br />Alley west of Lombard, fr Ninth St. north to <br />the north line of Elk 164, Swalwell' s 4th Add. <br />Alley west of Lombard, from the south line of <br />Ninth St. south for 50 ft., all situated in the <br />City of Everett. <br />WHEREAS, the owners of more than two -third of the <br />private property abutting upon the alley above described have dul <br />filed their petition with the City Council of Everett praying for <br />the vacation of said streets and alleys, and, <br />WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did <br />by resolution duly adopted, fix the 29th day of May, 1967, at <br />9:00 a.m. , of said day for the hearing and determination of said <br />petition, and, <br />WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of <br />said hearing and the determination of said petition has been <br />given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and, <br />WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing <br />objections to the vacating of the herein described streets and <br />alleys were heard and discussed, and, <br />WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council that said <br />petition should be granted subject to certain reservations and <br />exceptions and said City Council does hereby determine to vacate <br />the above described streets and alleys, subject to certain <br />reservations and exceptions, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />SECTION 1 That the streets and alleys in the City <br />of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described <br />as follows, to wit: <br />Oakes Ave. from south property line of 9th St. north <br />to the north end of said Oakes Ave. <br />Ninth St., from the west property line of Oakes Ave. <br />to the west property line of Lombard Ave. <br />Alley west of Lombard, fr Ninth St. north to the north <br />line of Blk 164, Swalwell' s 4th Add. <br />Alley west of Lombard, from the south line of Ninth <br />St. south for 50 ft., all situated in the City of <br />Everett, <br />
