Plan adoption, public hearing, and distribution: <br />Everett Transit's final draft of the 2020 Transportation Development Plan (TDP) will be presented to the <br />Transportation Action Committee (TAC) on October 15, 2020. The TAC will review, comment, and <br />recommend review and adoption by the City Council. The City Council presentation is scheduled for <br />Wednesday, October 21, 2020. <br />Distribution will include WSDOT, the Transportation Improvement Board, the City of Everett, Snohomish <br />County, and the Puget Sound Regional Council. <br />Description of service area, operations, and facilities: <br />Everett Transit is a municipally owned and operated transit system. <br />Department: Transportation Services <br />Divisions: Transit and Motor Vehicles <br />Transit Sections: Administration, Transportation Services, Finance, Everett Station <br />The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the City of Everett. The Transportation Services Director is <br />part of the Mayor's senior management team. <br />The Transportation Services section encompasses daily operations and support functions to daily <br />operations. The City's Facilities division provides management oversight for Everett Station staff and <br />transit facilities project coordinator. The Motor Vehicles division provides oversight for transit <br />employees engaged in fleet procurement and maintenance. <br />The Everett Municipal Code gives the Mayor the authority to modify service and adjust schedules. The <br />Everett City Council has the authority to establish fares and recommend tax rates, subject to voter <br />approval. <br />As of January 2020, the Transit Division employed 154.05 full-time equivalents allocated to the following <br />sections: <br />Fixed -Route: 103.55 (4 unfilled as of Jan. 2020) <br />Demand Response: 39.5 (3 unfilled as of Jan. 2020) <br />Everett Station: 11 (0 unfilled as of Jan. 2020) <br />The Organization Chart below depicts the staffing levels and distribution for Everett Transit as of January <br />2020. <br />J I 1,1 <br />ifl <br />m_,.�..,amxPI ne <br />Ph <br />„� <br />Everett Transit 2020 TDP — FINAL DRAFT 1 <br />
