600 Ninth Ave Apts COAST
WELCOME TO 600 NINTH AVE APTS
Name Phone Apt#
City of Everett (425)257-8746 1 -401
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DOOR ENTRY SYSTEM
Other than through the automobile garage doors, the only way to enter this building is through the front door access system.
Your keys will pat open any outside door. Your key only operates your apartment and the elevator. You must follow one of the
two procedures below.
VISITOR ENTRY: A visitor must press the"pound key"(#)on the front door key pad in order to scroll through the directory
of tenants'last names. Then you must enter on the key pad,the 3-digit code displayed for that name. You may give this 3-digit
code to anyone you want so that they do not have to scroll to your name each time. This will then allow them to be announced
before coming up. Dialing this 3-digit code only calls the telephone in your apartment. When you answer your phone, you will
be able to talk directly to the person at the front door for a maximum of two minutes. If you want them to come to your
apartment, you must press and hold the 6 on your telephone key pad for about 1 second. This will automatically open
the front door for them. Tell them not to grab or pull on the door, and to not let anyone else enter the building with them
except their own party. The elevator panel will only be activated for about 1 1/2 minutes (90 seconds), so they need to come
directly to your apartment.Be sure to tell them your floor and apartment number.
YOUR PIN NUMBER IS
TENANT ENTRY: This is how you get into the building after hours and on the weekends when the building is locked. On the
front door panel, press the"star" button (*) followed by your 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number). The door will then
automatically unlock and open by itself. This will also release (turn on) the elevators for approximately 1 1/2 minutes (90
seconds) allowing you to select the up or down button. The button will light, calling the elevator. Your PIN is for your own
personal use. Be discreet to whom you give this(PIN) number.A good rule of thumb-give it only to those who may come up
to your apartment unannounced. If you want to know when someone is coming up to see you, then they must go through the
normal VISITOR ENTRY procedure above.
48
