EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The Service Provider, in partnership with Worksource Snohomish,will assit the City by creating a new program to <br /> provide support for members of the Everett workforce and small businesses community injured by the <br /> unprecedented impacts of COVID-19. <br /> The Service Provider will create,launch,and evaluate Project Reinvent,a small business retention and recovery <br /> program that assists business innovators as they pursue their need to reinvent their business with access to regional <br /> talent of dislocated workers. <br /> In turn,Project Relnvent will provide an opportunity for dislocated workers to share their extensive knowledge and <br /> skills to improve the success level of these new and existing small businesses. <br /> Project Reinvent will explore entrepreneurial opportunities for their own ideas as well as others as they engage in <br /> creative,collaborative workshops. <br /> The goals of Project Relnvent include: <br /> -Increase innovative start-up activity in the region,with an emphasis on recovery,resiliency and building the future <br /> economy; <br /> -Support existing,innovative small business retention and recovery; <br /> -Increase start-up and innovative small business access to regional talent; <br /> -Retain talent in the region's workforce,particularly in science,technology,engineering and financial disciplines; <br /> and <br /> -Provide an opportunity to expand entrepreneur experience of dislocated workers and recent graduates. <br /> Page 12 <br /> (Form Approved by City Attorney's Office January 7,2010,updated August 16,2019) <br />
