The grant allows the <br />Everett Police Department to request overtime reimbursement for specific Target Zero <br />Projects. The projects High Visibility Enforcements (HVE) include Impaired Driving <br />Enforcement, Distracted Driving Enforcement and Motorcycle Safety Patrols. The Grant <br />program period is October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Major to sign all necessary documents and agreements with the <br />Washington Traffic Safety Commission, regarding the acceptance and utilization of the <br />FFY 2021 Target Zero HVE Grant Program. <br />
