Such amendments shall be binding upon the Parties without the need for formal approval by the Sound Transit Board or City Council as long as the amendments are generally consistent with this Agreement and do not exceed the authority granted by the Sound Transit Board to the Sound Transit CEO. 23 Severability. In case any term of this Agreement is held invalid, illegal,or unenforceable in whole or in part, by a court of law, neither the validity of the remaining part of such term nor the validity of the remaining terms of this Agreement shall in any way be affected thereby and, if necessary,the Parties will reform the Agreement to satisfy the original intent of the Parties.
