NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS: <br /> Section 1. Amend the City of Everett Growth Management Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map from <br /> Single Family to Commercial Mixed-Use for the subject property in the 2600 block of Summit Avenue as <br /> set forth in Exhibit 1. <br /> Section 2. The Planning Director shall prepare an ordinance that amends the City's zoning map with the <br /> ordinance for Rethink Zoning unless such ordinance for Rethink Zoning is not considered for City Council <br /> action before November 18, 2020, in which case,the Planning Director shall prepare an ordinance to <br /> change the subject property in the 2600 block of Summit Avenue to C-1 General Commercial. <br /> Section 3. Effective Date.This ordinance shall not go into effect until the City Council, by Resolution, <br /> concludes the 2020 Comprehensive Plan docket process. <br /> Section 4. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this Ordinance are authorized to make necessary <br /> corrections to this Ordinance including, but not limited to,the correction of scrivener's/clerical errors, <br /> references and ordinance numbering. <br /> Section 5. The City Council hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or <br /> phrase of this ordinance be declared invalid for any reason, it is the intent of the City Council that it <br /> would have passed all portions of this Ordinance independent of the elimination of any such portion as <br /> may be declared invalid. <br /> Section 6.
