At that time, Everett Utilities contracted with Catholic Community Services to administer this low- income discount program. The original agreement will expire on December 31, 2020. Everett Utilities is recommending Council authorize the Mayor to sign a new agreement with Catholic Community Services which would run through December 31, 2024. Having Catholic Community Services administer this program will allow a higher level of customer service and outreach to help guide qualifying Everett Utilities customers through the application process and assist with other programs that may be available to these customers. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Professional Services Agreement with Catholic Community Services to Administer Everett Utilities Low -Income Discount Program for an amount not to exceed $138,960.00.
