• <br /> October 14, 2020 <br /> Council Member Vogeli stated that the City of Lynwood started to discuss allowing <br /> marijuana stores in the City of Lynnwood. She spoke about marijuana stores' <br /> efforts on being good neighbors. Council Member Vogeli also underlined the need <br /> of medical products in the community. <br /> Council Member Murphy also thanked Public Safety Subcommittee and Police <br /> Chief Templeman. He spoke about an importance of medical endorsement <br /> requirement added to the new stores and the availability of medical products to <br /> the public. He also criticized the monopoly that exists with the limited number of <br /> marijuana stores. <br /> Council Member Moore spoke about an importance of medical endorsement and <br /> availability of medical products. He stated that additional stores will not bring <br /> additional tax revenue. He encouraged every store to offer a variety of medical <br /> products to the community. <br /> President Tuohy spoke about the work of the Public Safety Subcommittee and <br /> underlined an importance of keeping the 2,500 feet separation requirement. <br /> The City Clerk was directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the ordinance. <br /> AYES: Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Vogeli, Stonecipher, Tuohy <br /> NAYS: Bader <br /> EXCUSED: None <br /> Ordinance No. 3772-20 adopted. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member Roberts, to <br /> approve the following consent items: <br /> • <br /> 320 <br />
