• <br /> October 28, 2020 <br /> FIRST READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE levying the regular property taxes for the City of Everett for <br /> fiscal year commencing January 1, 2021, on all taxable property, both real and <br /> personal, subject to taxation thereon <br /> Presented by Susy Haugen, Finance <br /> COUNCIL BILL 2010-55 <br /> FIRST READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE levying the EMS property taxes for the City of Everett for fiscal <br /> year commencing January 1, 2021, on all taxable property, both real and <br /> personal, subject to taxation thereon <br /> Presented by Susy Haugen, Finance <br /> Susy Haugen explained that these two council bills were briefed as one ordinance r <br /> at the October 14 meeting; however, due to a directive from the Department of <br /> Revenue,these two ordinances needed to be separated based on EMS and regular <br /> property so there would be no additional briefing this evening. <br /> Council Member Vogeli left the meeting at 1:09 p.m. <br /> Council Member Bader entered the meeting at 1:19 p.m. <br /> BUDGET WORKSHOP #1 - 2021 PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET <br /> Council Member Murphy provided an introduction on the ongoing budget process <br /> and stated this hearing is intended to let council members weigh in and suggest <br /> changes. <br /> Susy Haugen, Finance, provided the proposed budget, with discussion on the <br /> following departmental funds: <br /> • <br /> 340 <br />
