She mentioned that today honors <br /> Sesame Street—champions of diversity, equity and inclusion. <br /> Council Member Murphy thanked veterans, current military service members, and <br /> first responder personnel. <br /> • <br /> Council Member Moore echoed Council Member Murphy's comments and <br /> thanked military members for protecting us both abroad and locally. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher expressed appreciation to military members who <br /> serve and have served our country to help fight for freedom and equality. <br /> Council Members Bader and Roberts echoed previous comments expressing <br /> sincere thanks and appreciation for our veterans and current military service <br /> members. <br /> President Tuohy stated she is very thankful for veterans, including her son who is <br /> a veteran.
