CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 1-08.11 Record Drawings <br /> (******) <br /> 1-08.11(1) Description <br /> This section specifies the requirements for preparing record drawings. The Contractor, <br /> with the cooperation and assistance of the City Inspector, is responsible for marking up <br /> record drawings during the course of construction. The Contractor shall keep the record <br /> drawings up to date at all times during the course of construction. <br /> The Inspector will verify the record drawings are accurate and complete before accepting <br /> the Contractors monthly pay request. If the record drawings are not current or accurate, <br /> the pay request will not be processed. <br /> As the Contract approaches Final Acceptance, prepare, with the assistance of the <br /> Inspector, a complete and accurate set of record drawings. The Inspector must approve <br /> the record drawings prior to Final Acceptance. Final Acceptance will not be issued until <br /> the City accepts the record drawings. <br /> 1-08.11(2) Recording Changes <br /> As a minimum, record the following items on the record drawings: <br /> a. Actual dimensions, arrangement and materials used when different than <br /> shown on the Plans. <br /> b. Changes made by Change Order or Field Order. <br /> c. Changes made by the Contractor. <br /> d. Horizontal and vertical locations of underground utilities and appurtenances, <br /> shall be referenced to monumentation. The monumentation shall be based <br /> on NAD 83-91 for Horizontal Datum and NAVD 88 for Vertical Datum. <br /> e. Any changes in centerline profile and curb & gutter (top of curb), offsets and <br /> elevations. <br /> f. Details, Equipment or materials used that were not shown on the original <br /> Plans. <br /> g. The actual arrangement and routing of conduit, embedded conduit, raceways <br /> and piping relative to its location and proportioned to other work. The location <br /> needs to be dimensioned on the record drawings. <br /> h. Contractor prepared piping schematics and diagram drawings representing <br /> the Equipment orientation. <br /> i. Final location of all surface and subsurface improvements. <br /> j. Record on the drawings the location of all field run materials. �1 <br /> k. All shoring systems left in place at the end of construction. I� <br /> Contractor shall accurately show existing underground items including, but not limited <br /> to, piping, manholes, pull boxes, conduit, direct buried wire, foundations, equipment and <br /> obstructions found during construction on the record drawings. Note on the record <br /> drawings the actual size of all utilities and structures and types of material used. Locate <br /> all record drawing items by survey coordinates or dimensioned off NAD 83-91 for <br /> Horizontal Datum and NAVD 88 for Vertical Datum.
