<br /> Bid Item 27 - HMA, CL 1/2" PG 64-22 for Permanent Trench Patch
<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton
<br /> Measurement for HMA, CL 1/2" PG 64-22 shall be by the ton, recorded on certified weight
<br /> tickets in accordance with 1-09.2 WEIGHING EQUIPMENT for HMA placed within the limits
<br /> of dimensions defined in the Work or shown on the Plans, Standard Specifications, Section
<br /> 5-06 of these Special Provisions, or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. The
<br /> measurement and payment limits for measuring the width of this bid item shall not exceed
<br /> the saw-cut limits shown on the Drawings. No deduction will be made for the weight of
<br /> asphalt binder, blending sand, mineral filler, or other component of the mixture.
<br /> The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work
<br /> necessary to furnish, machine-place, compact, and perform density tests on multiple lifts of
<br /> HMA— CL 1/2" PG 64-22 pavement in trench patches, and shall also include removal and
<br /> disposal of existing asphalt and base materials within the area to be patched. Also included
<br /> in this item is any adjustment of existing catch basin grates, valve boxes, junction boxes, or
<br /> any other street iron encountered in the patch area. Crushed surfacing will be measured and
<br /> paid separately.
<br /> Furnishing and applying tack coat, prime coat, joint seal and crack sealing asphalt is to be
<br /> included in this bid item with no direct compensation made. All costs for "Anti Stripping
<br /> Additive" and "Compaction Adjustment" shall be included in the unit contract price per ton of
<br /> the HMA with no direct compensation made.
<br /> Bid Item 28 - HMA CI. '/2", PG 64-22 for Alley Paving
<br /> Measurement for HMA, CL 1/2" PG 64-22 for alley paving shall be by the ton, recorded on
<br /> certified weight tickets in accordance with 1-09.2 WEIGHING EQUIPMENT for HMA placed
<br /> within the limits of dimensions defined in the Work or shown on the Plans, Standard
<br /> Specifications, Section 5-04 of these Special Provisions, or as otherwise approved by the
<br /> Engineer. No deduction will be made for the weight of asphalt binder, blending sand, mineral
<br /> filler, or other component of the mixture.
<br /> The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work

<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per EA
<br /> The unit Contract price per each for "Cement Conc. Curb Ramp Type B or D shall be full
<br /> compensation for all materials, tools, labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work
<br /> in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications and these
<br /> Special Provisions, including sawcutting, removal, loading, hauling and disposal of existing
<br /> pavements, and including the "Detectable Warning Surface."
