Washington State STOP Formula Grant <br /> Continuation/Modification Proposal for FFY 2020 Funding <br /> Special Conditions for FFY 2020 Funding <br /> New Special Condition: <br /> Policy for response to workplace-related sexual misconduct, domestic violence, and dating violence <br /> The recipient, and any sub recipient at any tier, must have a policy, or issue a policy within 270 days of <br /> the award date,to address workplace-related incidents of sexual misconduct, domestic violence, and <br /> dating violence involving an employee,volunteer, consultant, or contractor.The details of this <br /> requirement are posted on the Office on Violence Against Women web site at: <br /> https://www.justice.gov/ovw/page/file/1295756/download. Grantees will be required to certify <br /> compliance, or the intent to comply,with this requirement in their amendment documents. <br /> Continuing Special Conditions: Employment Eligibility Verification and Determinations of Suitability to <br /> Interact with Participating Minors <br /> Grantee and subgrantees are required to continue compliance with both the Employment Eligibility <br /> Verification and Determination of Suitability to Interact with Participating Minors special conditions. <br /> Grantees and subgrantees will be required to complete new STOP Employee Certification Forms for any <br /> new staff on the grant, or whose time is used for match. Grantees will also be required to complete new <br /> STOP Employee Certification Forms for any staff whose background checks itemized in the <br /> Determinations of Suitability to Interact with Participating Minors special condition have not been <br /> completed within the last five (5)years. If you believe you need to complete new forms, please notify <br /> your program coordinator when you submit your proposal. <br /> Additional Information <br /> Authorizing Officials and Delegates <br /> Authorizing Officials are individuals who have the authority to sign and enter into grant agreements on <br /> behalf of their agencies. Delegates are individuals who have been appointed to enter into grant <br /> agreements on behalf of authorizing officials. Amendment documents will only be accepted if they have <br /> been signed by the authorizing official or an approved delegate indicated in this proposal. <br /> Changes to Grant Activities <br /> VAWA program staff understand that many grantees have not been able to utilize funds for the activities <br /> originally proposed and approved in their FFY 2019 applications. Grantees may propose new activities in <br /> order to better utilize their existing funds in calendar year 2021. All budgets must align with activities. <br /> Coordinated Community Response Attendance <br /> A condition of receiving these funds is mandatory attendance at the local Coordinated Community <br /> Response team meetings or tribal Coordinated Community Response team meetings. VAWA staff <br /> understand that in-person meetings have not been practicable for grantees. Our expectation is that <br /> teams continue to connect and coordinate with one another at least quarterly during the grant period. <br /> Connecting with the team may be done virtually, via teleconference, or in-person. <br /> Declaration Page <br /> The last page of this renewal application is the Declaration page. You must check the "Accept" checkbox <br /> at the bottom of the page before submitting your application. Renewal applications without acceptance <br /> will be considered incomplete. <br />
