EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 3783_?fl <br /> An Ordinance Relating to the Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA), extending the term, <br /> modifying the special assessment levy and boundaries, and approving a five year budget, amending <br /> Ordinance No. 3582-17, as amended. <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. The City Council adopted Resolution No. 7583 on November 25 , 2020, declaring its intent <br /> to extend the term of the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area (BIA) for five years, <br /> modify the special assessment levy and boundaries, and approve a five year budget, pursuant to <br /> Chapter 35.87A RCW; and <br /> B. As provided in Resolution No. 7583 , the City Council held a public hearing on December <br /> 16 , 2020 in the Everett City Hall Council Chambers, concerning the extension of the term of the <br /> Downtown Everett BIA, expansion of the area, and the imposition of special assessments on <br /> property(and property owners) within such BIA, prior to the adoption of this Ordinance. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance 3582-17, as amended, is amended as follows,with strikeouts <br /> deleted and underlining added: <br /> District Established. <br /> As authorized by Chapter 35.87A RCW,there is hereby established a Downtown Everett Business <br /> Improvement Area (BIA) within the following described boundaries (when a street or alley is named,the <br /> District boundary is the center line of the right-of-way unless otherwise stated): <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Everett Avenue and the centerline of Broadway <br /> Avenue;thence southerly, along the centerline of Broadway Avenue to intersect the centerline of Pacific <br /> Avenue;thence westerly, along the centerline of Pacific Avenue to intersect the centerline of West <br /> Marine View Drive (formerly known as Norton Avenue);thence northerly, along the centerline of West <br /> Marine View Drive to intersect the centerline of Everett Avenue;thence easterly, along the centerline of <br /> Everett Avenue to intersect the southerly projected centerline of the alley in Block 613, Rucker's First <br /> Plat, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, page 101, records of Snohomish <br /> County,Washington; thence northerly, along said projected alley centerline and the centerline of said <br /> alley in Blocks 613 and 561, Rucker's First Plat, and continuing northerly along projected alley centerline <br /> of Block 561, Plat of the Monitor Addition to Everett according to the Plat thereof recorded in Volume 3 <br />
